Daisies
I just absolutely love daisies so since I was feeling better today I thought I'd go hunt some down so I could get some pictures. I also picked a few and brought them home to put in a mason jar :)

Well hello there...
Lately I've been falling apart with the sickies. I'm exhausted from it but I'm hydrating and taking my vitamin C so hopefully I will get better soon. On another note though work (and life in general) is grand. Today was customer appreciation day at work and Penny got to hang out in the office. She had a blast and made lots of friends. I'm beat though, there is not enough sleep in the world. In the meantime until I get better and also get some free time, here are some old pictures to enjoy.

Lately.
I've been pretty busy lately. Went on a Road trip to Fairbanks which is about all I've documented so far. On a positive note I got a job working in the office at a National Company so I'll be busy at work. I hope I can still get out and enjoy my summer from time to time. I also have a nephew due anytime this next month so I hope to get some pictures of the cute little guy! Can't wait to meet him!

Penny's Birthday Celebration
Penny is two this month and I wanted to do a little something. I'm a bit crazy about my sweet dog and originally had master plans to through her a party but that's a bit much to be honest.. so instead I made her a little cake (which she only had a tiny bit even though it looks huge) and got her a gift and some homemade treats. It was short and sweet! Happy Birthday Penny!! You're the best little dog ever!

Roadtrip - Homer, Alaska
After visiting Valdez, we had so much fun that we decided to go to Homer, Alaska. We didn't take as many pictures this trip but it was still a ton of fun! We camped out at the Russian River in hopes of seeing a bear but we weren't so lucky. After the Russian River we went to Clam Gulch and saw an insane amount of Eagles!! Then we went to the Homer Spit and got a little burnt out on being in the car after that so we headed home. Still so much fun. Alaska is truly something special.
